The first impression of a business is when a client stands idle in the elevator. Does your elevator interior reflect the quality of your business?.    Elander Persson fine woodwork is a manufacturer of distinguished elevator interiors.  Pre-design of all interiors are commonly provided for construction, but pictures of previous jobs or designer consultations can be arranged.  Drawings can be provided to the customer for approval and permit submission.  Elevator interiors can include custom selection of veneer, fabric, plastic, laminate panels, safety mirror, solid woods, wood molding, stainless steel panels, handrails, ceilings, lighting and reveals.  All products are assured of meeting required Class 1 or A fire rating.  Installation is made easy with template wall mounting devices to affix panels to elevator walls.  This wall system allows for ease of repair or a color change in the future.  These elevator products are presently provided in the northwest area of the United States.  A recommendation for installation using a qualified International Union of Elevator Constructors company can be provided.  Use Elander Persson fine Woodwork for your next elevator interior upgrade.

Under the management of Vanner (Van) E. Elander, Tom and Jhared have been constructing elevator interiors our shop.  The 1800 square foot facility is heated by radiant hot water beneath the concrete floor.  This protects products from Washington air's moisture content.  A HolzHer Super Cut 1270 automatic vertical panel saw processes the raw material to specified size.  The saw makes accurate square panels and the scoring blade provides chip free cuts.  A HolzHer 1610 applies edgebanding.  In a remote office, our "Gatekeeper" Rhonda manages accounts payable and receivable, new accounts, scheduling, estimating and even has time for drafting on computer aided design programs. What a team!  All are hard working and strive for perfection to satisfy our customers' demands.

Elander Persson fine woodwork also has manufactured all  types of specialty cabinets for the commercial industry.  Architects, contractors, interior designers and restaurant/hotel supply houses have ordered kitchenettes, restaurant bars, service stands, counters, office cabinets, reception desks and transaction tops to complete their commercial building interiors.

Van has manufactured commercial quality cabinets, wood products and upholstery for 31 years.  He apprenticed under Washington State Apprentice Training Program from 1971 to 1975.  He also worked seven years for Custom Manufacturing Corporation, building restaurant, office and institution cabinets.  He applied for a Washington State General Contractors license in January of 1978.  He then contracted small commercial projects  for seven years under the name of Finished Interiors & Exteriors. Van then worked as Plant Manager at Woodsmith Inc. for one year, producing commercial cabinets.  In 1985, he organized Commercial Fixtures Corporation, a new Washington State corporation which also manufactured commercial cabinets.  As Co-owner and President, Van managed personnel, scheduling, estimating, engineering, sales, financial requirements, computerization and corporate matters.  In February 1995, Elander Persson fine woodwork applied for and received a Washington State business license.  At the start, our business was 60% commercial cabinets and 30% elevator interiors.  Presently elevator interiors are 99% of  our sales.  Quality remains the most important factor in all our elevator products.
